The Daily Loop — a reflection tool for the ISDM practitioner circle.
The Daily Loop is a small, free tool built for the fellowship's own daily and weekly reflection practice. It is not a commercial product and comes with no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose beyond that.
The app mainly handles what you type into it: your daily entries (check-in, Experience, Reflect, What can help, Want to try) and your weekly reviews. If you sign in with Google, it also logs your email address, last-active date, and entry count to a private spreadsheet the fellows can open, described below. If you choose to give the app a name to call you, that name is stored with your entries and goes nowhere else. Nothing else is collected — no analytics, no tracking scripts, no third-party advertising.
appDataFolder) that only this app can read. It is not visible in your normal Drive file list, and it cannot see or touch any of your other Drive files, photos, or documents.No one but you. What you write — your check-in, Experience, Reflect, What can help, and Want to try text — is never sent anywhere except your own private Drive folder. It is not readable by facilitators, by the person maintaining this tool, or by anyone else. Your weekly circle only sees what you choose to bring and share out loud.
If you sign in with Google, this app privately logs three things to a spreadsheet the Fellows can open: your email address, the date you were last active, and a count of how many entries you've saved. This is used to see who's using the tool and to help fix problems, nothing more. It never includes anything you actually wrote, so no one can read your entries. If you don't sign in, none of this is logged either — your activity stays entirely on your device.
Sign-in uses Google's own identity service. The app requests two permissions: drive.appdata, to back up your entries to your own private folder, and your basic account email, used only for the activity log described above. It does not read your Google name or profile photo. The name the app greets you by is one you type in yourself, and you can change or clear it at any time. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by using the Sign out button in the app.
You can delete individual entries from within the app at any time. If you are signed in, the deletion syncs as well, so an entry you remove on one device does not come back from another. To remove everything, clear this site's data from your browser and, if you signed in, revoke the app's access from your Google Account — this removes the backup file from your Drive's app data folder.
Anything sent through the app's feedback box goes only to the person maintaining this tool for the fellowship, to help fix problems or improve the practice.
Since this is a small tool built for one fellowship's use, this policy may change as the tool does. Meaningful changes will be reflected here.
